Corrugated and plastic packaging manufacturer Menasha Corporation has acquired Portable Packaging Systems for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will provide Menasha Packaging with additional capabilities and resources to meet the growing needs of consumer packaged goods (CPG) customers in North America.
Based in Ontario, Portable Packaging designs promotional packaging and displays for retailers and CPG companies. It also provides material sourcing, assembly, repacking, fulfillment and distribution services.
Portable Packaging will operate as part of Menasha Packaging Canada.
Menasha Packaging president Mike Waite said: "Portable Packaging’s structural and graphic design expertise, along with its integrated merchandising supply chain model, complement Menasha Packaging’s platform and strengthens our integrated materials and services business model in Canada.
"I look forward to the many opportunities this partnership and expansion will provide to new and current customers in Canada."

The deal follows Menasha’s acquisition of PearceWellwood earlier this year.
With a workforce of 3,200 employees, Menasha Packaging provides graphic consumer packaging, merchandising solutions, corrugated packaging, food packaging, shipping containers, material handling solutions, pack-out and fulfillment services.
Menasha Packaging operates design, sales service centres, corrugated and paperboard manufacturing plants, and fulfillment facilities across the US.
