Austrian packaging and paper company Mondi is set to premiere new sustainable packaging innovations at RosUpack 2018, which is scheduled to be held from 26-29 June in Moscow, Russia.

The company will also present its portfolio of products and solutions at the event, catering to consumer demands and industry trends.

RosUpack will host the global pre-launch of Mondi’s PERGRAPHICA Infinite Black, which is a new premium design paper in the PERGRAPHICA portfolio.

According to the company, PERGRAPHICA Infinite Black offers a smooth feel and deep shade and has been designed for premium creative print and packaging applications, such as shopping bags, covers or liners.

Another Mondi product to be exhibited at the event is its corrugated e-commerce solution ‘(Re)use’, prior to its upcoming market launch in Russia.

(Re)use eliminates the requirement for additional foil bags in transport by increasing handling efficiency during fulfilment through its easy closure.

Mondi Group communication and marketing director Sara Sizer said: “Russia is an important market for Mondi and we have a strong presence here: two consumer packaging plants, one corrugated packaging plant, and our pulp and paper mill in Syktyvkar.”

The company will showcase a range of solutions, including flexible packaging, corrugated solutions, industrial bags, containerboard and office and professional printing papers.

Other products to feature at RosUpack include Mondi’s customised wicket bags, SPLASHBAG, Mondi flexible cement bag, and ProVantage Komiwhite.

SPLASHBAG is a paper bag that can withstand rain for up to six hours and can be stored in wet environments for up to five days.

ProVantage Komiwhite is a ‘Nordic fibre paper’ that is applicable for shelf-ready packaging solutions.

Mondi has 26,000 employees across more than 30 countries.
