US-based Multi Packaging Solutions International (MPS) has completed the acquisition of Paris Art Label Company (Paris Art), which manufactures labels and shrink sleeve products.

Announced in March, the deal has allowed MPS to achieve its goal of expanding capability and presence in the label sector globally.

Multi Packaging Solutions International CEO Marc Shore said: “We are delighted to welcome the Paris Art team into the MPS family.

The company currently provides print and packaging solutions for the healthcare and branded consumer markets.

With 60 manufacturing locations in North America, Asia and Europe, MPS’ portfolio of products include print-based specialty packaging, such as folding cartons, labels, inserts / leaflets, and specialty packaging across a variety of substrates and finishes.

Paris Art Label Company president and owner Ron Tarantino said: “We are proud of the high quality and innovative label and shrink print packaging we have designed and delivered to leading consumer and cosmetics customers for over 90 years and know that MPS will be an excellent home for our customers and employees.

“MPS is committed to investing additional capital to continue to support the operation. Additionally, I am pleased to say that I, and the Paris Art management team, will be staying on with the new entity going forward.”

The company currently has two locations, Patchogue and Ronkonkoma, in New York, US.
