Refresco has received shareholders’ approval for the deal, which is valued at approximately $1.25bn.

Braskem has renewed its agreement with Sojitz Pla-Net for the supply of its green polyethylene named ‘I’m green Polyethylene’, which is made using renewable feedstock.

Braskem, which is a petrochemical company, is also one of the biggest resin manufacturers in the Americas.

Sojitz Pla-Net, a plastics trading company that is part of the Sojitzk Group, offers plastics resins, packaging materials and electronics materials.
