Germany-based glass and plastic packaging specialist Gerresheimer is set to unveil three of its solutions at this year's FCE Pharma event to be held in São Paulo, Brazil, between 23-25 May.
The solutions will include the Duma Combi tablet container, the DropAid application tool, and the new Duma closure.

The Duma Combi tablet container features an integrated compartment for information leaflets, as well as space for a label on its exterior for marketing purposes.
In addition, the container's rectangular design allows it to be stacked and helps save space during transport.
Gerresheimer’s DropAid application tool is said to administer eye drops more effectively.
Suitable for children and elderly people, the tool also features a circular opening that fits the size and shape of the closure, and requires minimal strength to open.

By GlobalDataBy clipping DropAid vertically onto the neck of the opened bottle using the semicircular notch, the users can place the bottle securely next to their eye to administer the correct number of drops.
DropAid can also be used with any of Gerresheimer's existing ‘dropper bottles’ for ophthalmic applications.
According to Gerresheimer, the Duma closure offers senior-friendly, child-resistant and tamper-evident features, including a special opening mechanism that prevents children from being able to open it.
In a separate development, Gerresheimer noted that it would exhibit the pharmaceutical vials and ampoules, produced at its new site in Kosamba, India, at the Innopack Pharma Confex to be held in Mumbai next month.
