Deeply Yours bottle

German glass and plastic packaging products manufacturer Gerresheimer has revealed plans to launch a new bottle for Enrique Iglesias’ fragrance, ‘Deeply Yours’.

The company exhibited bottles for the women’s and men’s versions of the fragrance at Cosmetic Business in Munich, Germany.

The new bottle features a thick base and two wide aluminium rings resembling bracelets wrapped around its middle.

The bottles are said to be pleasant to hold as a result of their size and shape.

Gerresheimer Cosmetics Sales senior director Bernd Stauch said: “The effect for Deeply Yours is created with partial surface metallisation, which involves a thin layer of aluminium being applied in vapour deposition process.”

Using a new marbling technique for glass bottles, the company will design individual marble-effect patterns in selected colours for both transparent and colour-lacquered glass, creating unique results for every bottle.

Gerresheimer’s product suite includes glass jars and bottles for fragrances, deodorants, skincare and colour cosmetics.

In January, the company announced plans to invest in its production facilities in Momignies, Belgium, and Tettau, Germany, to boost its cosmetics glass and finishing business.

The company procured a new furnace and multicolour printing machines to enhance production of jars and bottles.
