The adoption of Reactive Recycling by Nexam customers is a shift from initial trials to long-term, commercial-scale operations.
The technology offers benefits in packaging and industrial applications, including the production of flexible packaging films, rigid containers and durable industrial components with high recycled content.
For the flexible packaging and film sector, Reactive Recycling ensures stable production with cost-effective raw materials, without compromising on quality.
In the realm of rigid packaging, the technology enhances the melt strength and toughness of recycled polypropylene (rPP), high-density polyethylene (rHDPE), and polyethylene terephthalate (rPET), facilitating the manufacture of bottles and containers with significantly higher recycled content.

These run-rate numbers confirm that Reactive Recycling is not just a concept, but a proven solution delivering real value to customers who need stronger, more reliable recycled plastics at scale – often also generating considerable savings.”
