US-based flexible and speciality rigid packaging manufacturer Printpack will open a new manufacturing facility on 11 August in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, US.
The new plant is part of the company’s reinvestment strategy to improve production efficiency.

The new 203,400ft² building and new equipment are replacing Printpack’s existing Rhinelander facility.
The building itself will involve an expense of approximately $32m, while the remaining $40m will be invested in new technology.
Printpack chairman and CEO Dennis Love said: "Printpack has been pleased to be a part of the Rhinelander community for over 25 years, and we are excited about the new investment we are making there. This major commitment will provide our Rhinelander associates with the best technology available in our industry and put us on a path to continued success for years to come."
The Rhinelander plant, which employs 138, will initially call for between 12 to 15 additional jobs, with plans to increase them in the future.

Printpack, which operates 25 manufacturing facilities in the US, Mexico, Poland and China, employs more than 4,000 people worldwide.
