Wood packaging solution provider Pujolasos has launched a new glue-free wood cap featuring recyclable plastic inner.

Named as Woodle, the product is designed to address the perfumery and cosmetics industries’ growing demand for sustainable caps.

The cap has been manufactured using natural materials such as wood. The plastic inner can be separated and disposed of post use for recycling, according to the company.

Woodle can be applied to current and future developments in perfumery or cosmetics with focus on sustainability. It can also be applied to any material that involves similar plastic innovation and is not limited to just wood.

Moreover, the plastic inner can be injected in post-consumer recycled material to boost sustainability.

In November last year, Pujolasos launched Woork. The innovation is 100% organic and compostable system.
