Resource Label Group, a pressure-sensitive labels provider for the packaging industry, has completed the acquisition of US-based label manufacturer Best Label.

The deal marks the fourth acquisition for the company and expands its west coast presence and position in the label and packaging industry.

Best Label offers labelling solutions across a range of segments such as food, beverage, health and beauty, pharmaceutical, automotive, agricultural, and chemical industries.

It offers letterpress, flexographic and digital printing, as well as enhanced finishing assets for pressure-sensitive, extended content and promotional label solutions.

Resource Label currently operates 18 locations and employs 1,300 associates across the US and Canada.

It is a portfolio company of New York-based private investment firm First Atlantic Capital and TPG Growth. In May, TPG made an undisclosed investment in Resource Label.

Earlier this month, Resource Label acquired US-based pressure-sensitive labelling solutions supplier Spectrum Label for an undisclosed sum.
