Sustainable packaging solutions manufacturer Ring Container Technologies has created new non-aerosol spray bottles for Conagra Brands’ PAM Cooking Spray.

The new bottle is expected to fulfil specific requirements and provide another packaging option to the customers, along with Conagra Brands’ aerosol cans.

Ring Container Technologies business development and innovation vice-president Brian Smith said: “Conagra has been a longtime partner of Ring, and we were thrilled to work with them on such an exciting project.

“We worked together as a cross-functional team to create a modern and contemporary bottle design that reflects Conagra’s new strategy and direction.”

“This pump-spray bottle was co-created during a customised session at our Innovation Center in Oakland, Tennessee, and six months later, Conagra was prepping their operations for a major product launch.”

Conagra decided to partner with Ring to develop the new container after a consumer-based survey found that customers prefer a non-aerosol spray and a transparent container.

The new pump spray retains PAM’s ‘spray no-stick’ property and the other aspects of the packaging fulfil necessary environmental and nutritional standards.
