Food packaging solutions provider Sabert has started construction for its new manufacturing facility in Greenville, Texas, US.

The new facility will manufacture plastic packaging and 100% compostable packaging made from plant-based materials.

Scheduled to become fully operational by early next year, the Greenville site will generate more than 125 local jobs.

The addition of the facility is in line with the company’s quality and sustainability drive.

Sabert founder and CEO Albert Salama said: “The more sustainable options we can offer our customers, the more we help the environment by replacing products that might end up in a landfill.
