The acquisition is expected to enhance Sabert’s position in the sustainable food packaging sector within the UK and other markets.
Colpac managing director Andrew Grimbaldeston said: “Colpac’s team, heritage, and specialist paperboard expertise are a perfect complement to Sabert’s portfolio. Together, we are better equipped to serve customers with a broad, innovative, and sustainable range of food packaging solutions.”
Sabert stated that Colpac’s established capabilities in design and manufacturing align well with its operational goals.
