Scanbuy has collaborated with business services provider Kezzler to integrate its SmartLabel with Internet of Packaging (IoP) to offer consumer engagement and logistical support with a single QR Code.

SmartLabel provides information such as nutritional facts, ingredients and performance statistics, while IoP is said to facilitate mass product serialisation, leading to unique item identification.

The new technology will see the use of SmartLabel QR Codes to offer product traceability, supply chain optimisation and marketing insights to consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies and retailers.

“It is important that we help clients future-proof their investment in SmartLabel, by solving product traceability and visibility using the exact same barcode.”

As part of the new service, a Scanbuy QR Code will be placed on product package to link consumer to the specific SmartLabel landing page through a simple scan.

If scanned for a business operation, the same QR code provides the companies with complete distribution visibility and details on all of the product lifecycle stages through Kezzler platform.
