Smurfit Kappa has collaborated with YéO, a subsidiary of French dairy group Sodiaal, to develop new Pouch-Up packaging for yoghurt drinks.

Under the collaboration, YéO has launched a new yoghurt drink made of mixed strawberries, La Fontaine à Yaourt, which is manufactured in France and features the Pouch-Up packaging.

Pouch-Up is a lightweight and easy-to-use packaging solution for yoghurt drinks.

The Original Vitop tap located on the outside of the packaging makes it suitable for liquids.

The new Pouch-Up packaging for YéO’s 1.5l yoghurt drinks provides a shelf-life of ten days after opening.

"This packaging suits the needs of the whole family and is user-friendly, convenient to use and eco-friendly – these are advantages that consumers value."

YéO marketing director Sylvie Barniol said: "We can be innovative and pioneers on the yoghurt market thanks to the Pouch-Up.
