The new 15°C to 25°C temperature range versions address recently implemented European good distribution practice (GDP) regulations.

The Envoy CRT Series currently comprises four sizes ranging from 4.5l to 40l. Extra sizes may be added later, however.

Sonoco ThermoSafe Europe general manager Niall Lehane said that customers need to ship room-temperature drugs in temperature-controlled environments.

"The products initially will be available from our Mallow, Ireland, and Duren, Germany facilities. Availability from additional global sites is part of our future plans," Lehane added.
