Food processing and packaging solutions provider Tetra Pak has launched the Tetra Brik Aseptic 250 Base Crystal, a new version of its aseptic carton packages.
The latest version features two crystal-shaped panels on the front side of the package, enabling retailers to stack and distribute the packages efficiently.
The Tetra Brik Aseptic 250 Base Crystal carton package has more graphic designs than the previous model. It also has a higher paper content, making it more eco-friendly.
Tetra Pak product director Manuel Calderon said that with the new packaging, consumers can now save time in differentiating the brand from other products.
"This new package is a way for food producers to bring distinctiveness to their brands through a low-cost, retrofittable solution," Calderon added.
The newly shaped pack is retrofittable with existing TBA/22 filling lines. The company has already completed a successful field test with dairy producer Mengniu for launching its new package globally.
