UK-based 4 Aces has agreed to provide 9oz polyethylene terephthalate (PET) tubs to iced products manufacturer Snowshock to support its new product launch.
Expected to be supplied in mid-2016, 9oz will be used to pack Snowshock's new ice-cream offering.
The tubs will be provided throughout the summer, while the ice-cream is being trialled.
Snowshock expects the ice-cream to be popular at shops and leisure centres during the summer season.
Launched in 2001, 4 Aces currently provides around one million branded PET cups each year to Snowshock's flavoured slush drinks.
The company also supplies clear 300ml and 440ml cups for Snowshock's Frappino iced coffee and chocolate drinks.
Snowshock managing director Peter Campbell said: "We are constantly looking for ways to exceed customer expectation and the introduction of an ice-cream takes our current offering to a whole new level.
"With 4 Aces's help we have been able to source the best packaging to complement this product rather than settle for 'off the shelf' tubs, which makes a huge difference when you are supplying a new product and you have one chance to get the launch right.
"It's this level of support and flexibility that enables us to try new things like the ice-cream, comfortable in the knowledge that we can easily increase the volume and customise the packaging, depending on the popularity of the product, to meet demand."
