UK-based glass packaging manufacturer Beatson Clark has supplied new embossed beer bottles for Hurns Brewing Company’s Tomos Watkin brand of beers.
The new embossing design, which includes the beer brand’s name and strapline 'The Great Ales of Wales', Hurns Brewing aims to increase the sale of its Tomos Watkin brand of beers.
The new design has also enabled the 500ml amber beer bottles to fit on Hurns Brewing Company’s existing filling line.
Hurns Brewing Company CEO Connie Parry said: “We already use Beatson Clark’s standard 500ml craft beer bottles for some of our contract filling but for the Tomos Watkins range we wanted something a little different which would make the Tomos Watkin brand really stand out from the competition.
“For the embossing design we wanted to focus on the Welsh heritage of our brand, and after some discussions Beatson Clark’s designers took their inspiration from the three ostrich feathers in the emblem of the Prince of Wales.”
Beatson Clark can modify the packaging design of its standard bottles by imprinting a name or logo embossed onto the finish moulds.
