The new solution has received a licence from SCA Forest Products and integrates innovative printing with corrugated cardboard to bend in smooth, continuous curves that fit comfortably around goods.

Cepac group sales and marketing director Steve Moss said: “We are always looking for ways to develop and improve our product offering. Cepac are delighted to be partnering with SCA Forest Products and launching Arcwise in the UK and customer feedback has been exceptionally positive.

"When we show customers the curved corrugated packaging they immediately see its potential to offer them a point of difference for their products."

According to Cepac, the patented technology used in Arcwise enables corrugated board to be bent in a smaller radius.

New shapes can also be created to provide more opportunities to extend the graphical layout on multiple panels.

Cepac has used the latest printing and shaping technology to develop the Arcwise range, which helps transform presentation and supply chain for packaging.

Compared to square-edged packaging, the new Arcwise packaging offers better shelf-appeal, resistance and loading capacity.

In addition, the curved panels offer more strength than flat panelled structures and allow the distribution of forces over a wider area.
