The range features tamper-evident adhesives such as Red Luminescent solution with RP62 EU.
It can be used on existing machines to verify labels for 100% accuracy and glows red when illuminated by the sensor’s UV light.
Leveraging the company’s pharmaceutical adhesive RP62EU, the new solution offers a range of tamper-verification safety features enabling companies to identify visible, irreversible damage or change to the packaging or label when removed. It also provides holographic effects for packaging.

The packaging firm noted that companies can achieve full compliance with the EU Falsified Medicines Directive on packaging for prescription drugs and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines by using the labelling solution.
UPM Raflatac produces self-adhesive label materials such as paper and film label stock for consumer product and industrial labelling applications.
