Developed for the flexible packaging market, the Press-Lok closure is claimed to be an easy-to-use, tactile re-closure solution that will allow pet food to retain freshness for a longer duration within the bag.

WellPet and Ontario-based flexible packaging company Peel Plastic Products has delivered the Wellness TruFood packaging.
Velcro Industries packaging business unit senior business development manager Chris Lerra said: "Press-Lok closures add an important value for customers who are seeking to keep their products fresh, easy-to-access and most of all, contained.

Wellness TruFood is a range of pet food recipes for dogs and cats with nutrients of whole prey protein, raw produce and antioxidants and is produced by hand blending and baking in small batches, the company claims.
