TransForm can also be used for machines that produce paperboard, containerboard, fluting / corrugating, linerboard, kraft bag, liquid packaging board, food and beverage containers and others.

Xerium Technologies EVP and CTO Bill Butterfield said: “Our board and packaging customers continuously demand improvements in uptime efficiency and reduced operating costs while delivering higher product quality at maximum output.

“Utilising new proprietary polymers and structural designs, our new TransForm line is already helping customers reduce energy consumption by more than 15% while extending fabric life between 15% and 25%.”

Apart from manufacturing fabrics and roll covers for use in paper and packaging, nonwovens, and other industrial manufacturing processes, the company provides integrated machine monitoring and automation applications.

With around 2,900 employees, Xerium currently operates 28 manufacturing facilities in 13 countries worldwide.

In July, the company launched two new roll cover product families, EnerSoft TS and ProGloss.

EnerSoft TS is a new-generation, polyurethane roll cover technology specifically engineered for tissue pressure rolls positions, while ProGloss is a new advanced technology composite roll cover for use in calender applications.
