US-based YumEarth is set to introduce new packaging for its fruit-based sweets across the country.

The new packaging features a white background with natural colours, a new logo, certifications, and photos of the product.

It also features graphics depicting smiling fruit and the company’s new tagline, ‘sweet on simple’.

YumEarth project manager Julia Lorusso said: “Packaging is where the consumers form their first impressions and our cleaner look now compliments the taste of our candy, the attitude of our brand and our cleaner ingredients.

“We really wanted packaging that showcased our whimsical spirit in a fresh, eye-catching way.”

The new packaging is manufactured in factories that follow Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building guidelines and use equipment powered by wind-generated electricity.

The approach is expected to help YumEarth to meet its sustainability goal.
