Aptar has introduced NeoDropper Autoload, an auto-loading dosing dropper, in its first commercial application with Dermalogica’s FutureCode Booster.

The format is aimed at skincare and dermocosmetic products where brands are seeking tighter dose control, easier handling and cleaner application.

The NeoDropper Autoload system uses a twist-and-push mechanism together with a cap that reloads the applicator after each use.

Aptar said this is intended to provide a repeatable dose.

A dip tube inside the bottle is intended to help users access more of the formula and reduce remaining product at the end of use.

Dermalogica has chosen the packaging for FutureCode Booster, a serum positioned as a longevity treatment for daily DNA-related damage and visible skin ageing.

The launch extends the existing relationship between the two companies.

In 2022, Dermalogica became the first skincare brand to use Aptar’s Future dispensing pump, a mono-material polyethylene component, in its cleansing line.

Dermalogica packaging engineer manager Manuela DeForge said: “FutureCode Booster has been positively received by consumers, particularly for its dispensing performance, ease of use, and overall user experience.

"Feedback highlights the value of delivering a consistent dose in a controlled and hygienic manner, demonstrating how thoughtful packaging design can enhance both product performance and everyday usability.”

Earlier this month, Aptar Closures introduced a group of closures for beauty, personal care and home care products sold online.

The range covers four products, notably Embrace, E-Simplicity, Future Disc Top and E-Disc Top.
