Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America, part of Ardagh Group, has introduced two new 8oz ring neck glass bottles to its US-manufactured product line.

Intended for products such as dressings, sauces, and marinades, the clear glass bottles come with either a lug or continuous thread finish.

These containers are produced domestically and can be sourced directly from the company.

The company noted that the bottles are made from recyclable glass, which can be processed repeatedly without degradation in quality.

AGP-North America chief commercial officer Rashmi Markan said: “Ardagh Glass Packaging is pleased to offer these new 8oz ring neck bottles that offer brands the clarity, durability and shelf appeal they expect for their products.

“These versatile glass bottles also deliver the premium look in a trusted packaging material that consumers desire.”

Last July, Ardagh Glass Packaging-Europe launched a 300g wine bottle designed for still wines.

The 75cl bottle is built for compatibility with high-speed filling lines and is intended to withstand the demands of distribution while maintaining the visual characteristics of glass packaging.

The company said that the design achieves a significant weight reduction.

Ardagh Metal Packaging, majority-owned by Ardagh Group at 76%, is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Additionally, Ardagh Group holds a 42% stake in Trivium Packaging, which supplies metal packaging to the food, speciality, and personal care sectors.

The group operates 58 manufacturing sites across 16 countries and employs 19,000 people, according to its website.

Reported annual sales are approximately $9.1bn.
