The new beer packaging highlights a larger black-and-white version of its original logo from the 90s.

US-based brewing company Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has revealed a fresh look for its beer packaging.

The new design, which applies to its entire range of brews, features vibrant, attention-grabbing graphics and an updated 'shark-and-shield' logo.

The redesign was inspired by consumer feedback and aims to enhance shelf presence and flavour transparency.

The brewery’s refreshed logo, originally from the 90s, has been enlarged and stylised in black-and-white to contrast with the new, brighter packaging colours.

This change aims to make Dogfish Head's products more identifiable to customers navigating the craft beer aisle.

The new packaging artwork, which has been more than a year in the making, draws from the brewery’s coastal Delaware origins.

Each beer now sports a unique, nautical-themed 'hero' illustration such as a sailboat or lighthouse, reflecting the brand's heritage.

In line with Dogfish Head's tradition of using distinctive culinary ingredients, the updated labels also depict the specific components used in each beer.

These illustrations, alongside succinct two-word flavour descriptors, are designed to set clear taste expectations for consumers at the point of purchase.

Alongside the packaging revamp, Dogfish Head announced that its 120 Minute IPA is returning to shelves nationwide, where it is legally permitted.

Dogfish Head founder and brewer Sam Calagione said: “This year, I get to do that and commemorate the official launch of our all-new beer packaging artwork, which is finally rolling out to shelves nationwide. It’s been a long, but rewarding journey to get to this new look, so raising a fresh 120 Minute IPA sounds like the perfect celebration to me!”
