MICROLINE - End-of-Line Packaging Machines: Wrapping and Shrink-Wrapping Machines, and Case-Packing Systems, Conveyors and Palletisers

Thanks to the different markets it caters for MICROLINE has been able to analyse and resolve the problems arising in a range of sectors. For this reason our packaging machines are composed of a standard model that can be customised with the simple addition of modules.

The synergetic nature of the relationship between customer and engineering department and the modular design of the machines allows logistical problems to be resolved and offers the possibility of altering configurations or adding new modules as and when changes are required.

MICROLINE offers packaging solutions for the food processing industry (milk, yogurt, coffee, sugar, rice, pasta, etc.), cosmetics industry (phials, aerosol products, cotton swabs, etc.), tissue sector, sponges industry and more.

Top-loading and side-loading case packers

The choice between top-loading and side-loading case packers depends on both the product type and case collation needs.

• RVM automatic case packers with top-loading system are designed to collate, fill (top) and close American-type cases using adhesive tape or hot-melt glue (this compact and modular machine is available in versions 600 and 800)
• ROM automatic case packers with side-loading system are designed to collate, fill (laterally) and close American-type cases using adhesive tape or hot-melt glue (this compact and modular machine is available in versions 600, 800 and 800 Maxi)

For all versions the case magazine is loaded without having to halt the production cycle. Changeover is also rapid as all adjustments are made using the hand wheel with position indicator.

In-line shrink-wrapper machines

In-line shrink-wrapper machines are suitable for shrink-wrapping supported (with tray) or unsupported products. They are designed for small to average sized production rates of up to 20 packages per minute.

Right-angle shrink-wrapper machines

Right-angle shrink-wrapper machines are suitable for bundling and shrink-wrapping products such as bags, boxes, jars, phials, etc. They are designed for small to average sized production rates of up to 12 bundles per minute.

Z-flow shrink-wrapper machines

Z-flow shrink-wrapper machines are suitable for bundling and shrink-wrapping products such as bags, boxes, jars, phials, etc. They are designed for small to average sized production rates of up to eight bundles per minute.

Shrink-wrapper machines with integrated stacker

Shrink-wrapper machines with integrated stacker are suitable for stacking, bundling and shrink-wrapping products such as bags, boxes and jars. They are available in two different versions (with built-in or external stacker), to match speed and lay-out needs. They are designed for small to average sized production rates of eight to 17 bundles per minute.

Shrink-wrapper machines with cardboard slipsheet insertion

Shrink-wrapper machines with cardboard slipsheet insertion are suitable for collating, bundling and shrink-wrapping products (boxes, jars, phials, etc.) with or without a cardboard sheet. They are designed for small to average sized production rates of up to ten bundles per minute.

Semi-portal palletisers

For complete end-of-line management we offer different solutions that are able to meet our customers’ needs, such as plastic chain and belt motor-driven transport systems, lifting and lowering systems, and palletisers.

Our palletisers are designed to feature a semi-portal construction, and are based on four-DOF interpolated Cartesian axes. They can manage up to three lines of incoming products and three pallet stations. We provide a ‘basic’ version, which can be upgraded with optional devices in order to obtain completely automated management.

MICROLINE offers special packaging machines for the tissue market, for products such as paper tissues, napkins, C-fold products, facial tissues, hospital paper rolls, AFH, industrial paper rolls and industrial toilet paper.
