Il Visone’s transition to these reusable plastic crates is said to have streamlined its operations and improved overall efficiency.
The crates are designed with pierced holes to promote airflow, ensuring that the contained grapes remain fresh from August to November.
The crates’ stackable design has also improved pallet stability, reducing the risk of collapses during storage and enhancing safety. Additionally, the foldable crates allow for more efficient storage and transport.
This capability in particular has enabled Il Visone to reduce logistical costs and lessen the environmental impact of moving grapes to market.

A representative from Il Visone said: “Tosca’s reusable plastic crates have simplified our operations and improved efficiency at every stage of our supply chain.
“From their durability and design to the excellent service provided, Tosca has been an invaluable partner.”
