US-based company ELIS Manufacturing and Packaging Solutions has reported further investment and improvements in its stick pack manufacturing and packaging operations.
The update is presented as part of ongoing operational development in response to increased demand for single-serve, portion-controlled formats for powders, granules, and liquids.
ELIS Manufacturing and Packaging Solutions CEO Keith Vinson said the company has been developing its contract manufacturing and packaging infrastructure to address changing market requirements.
Stick packs are used because they are easy to carry and suit a range of distribution routes, including retail, foodservice, and e-commerce fulfilment.
ELIS manufactures narrow sealed sachets intended to support precise dosing and consistent fill weights.
Typical applications include nutritional supplements, food and beverage ingredients, pharmaceutical products, and personal care items where portion control and shelf stability are important.
The company said that its production approach is designed to handle products with different viscosities and material behaviours.
It has also referenced investment in equipment and quality control systems to support scalable output while meeting relevant industry standards.
Company leadership linked the focus on stick packs to broader developments in packaging and contract manufacturing, citing continued demand for single-serve formats associated with convenience, hygiene, and portability, particularly for health-related and on-the-go categories.
It also noted that stick packs can use less material compared with larger rigid packaging options.
Vinson added that stick pack manufacturing can enable brands to trial formulations, enter new markets, or extend product ranges without running in-house packaging lines.
He described the company’s role as providing packaging support that fits into client supply chains.
ELIS’ stick pack services are intended to cover both short runs and high-volume requirements, allowing clients to adjust output while keeping packaging specifications consistent.
The company also works with different films and barrier materials to address moisture control, stability, and shelf-life needs.
Alongside manufacturing, ELIS provides associated services such as filling, sealing, and inspection. The company said these steps are intended to simplify launch timelines and reduce logistical complexity.
It also noted that stick packs are often used for sampling, travel-size products, and subscription fulfilment models.
ELIS Manufacturing and Packaging Solutions serves clients in the food, supplement, pharmaceutical, and personal care sectors.
