The food packaging solutions provider’s quarterly net sales increased by 3.1% to Skr2bn, from Skr1.9bn a year earlier.
The increase was mainly linked to performance in Australia and higher sales of customer own-brand products in Europe.
Operating income decreased to Skr133m, compared with Skr168m in Q3 2025. Higher logistics costs and an unfavourable product mix affected the result.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) fell to Skr94m from Skr151m. The result included Skr21m in restructuring charges.
Return on capital employed, excluding goodwill, declined to 12.7% from 23.9%.
Duni Group president and CEO Robert Dackeskog said the group would prioritise the completion of its logistics transition, transport efficiency, and customer offerings during the remaining months of the year.
Dackeskog also cited the effects of the Seti acquisition, completed at the end of 2024. Together with Duni’s organisation in Italy, the acquisition has expanded the group’s presence in Southern Europe.
He said: “The development during the year confirms the value of building a more balanced geographical presence in Europe and reducing dependence on individual markets.”
Meanwhile, the company also pointed to the continued development of Food Packaging Solutions via Duniform.
In April, Duni Group introduced Sealable Ronda, a new sealable paper bowl solution developed under the Duniform brand to address the rising demand for ready-to-eat salads and bowl meals.
Sealable Ronda comprises more than 85% lower plastic content and cuts CO₂ emissions by over 50% compared to plastic Duni bowls of a similar size.
