Based in Silsbee, Texas, US, Apache Products designs and produces stringer and heat-treated pallets.
The business generates roughly $55m in yearly sales and employs 165 people.
Following completion, the Silsbee plant will be incorporated into UFP Packaging’s PalletOne division.
The addition delivers immediate production volume and widens the group’s regional pallet manufacturing base across the Gulf Coast industrial and petrochemical corridor.
UFP Industries said the purchase aligns with its strategy to allocate capital to core units, increase manufacturing output for regional and national accounts, and link its nationwide supply network with the target company’s existing commercial relationships.
UFP Packaging is the producer of wood pallets and crates in the US, supplying industrial packaging solutions.
Its operations encompass structural and reusable metal packaging, custom and stock corrugated boxes, advanced printing and labelling, and protective packaging solutions.
UFP Industries CEO Will Schwartz said: “This acquisition tracks with our other investments this year—broadening our reach into a strategically important geography and creating opportunities to grow with our national customers across the region to create long-term value.”
Earlier this month, UFP Packaging established a dedicated brand, All Boxed Up, to represent its corrugated packaging operations across North America.
Originally brought into the group through a 2022 corporate purchase, the new brand name will now apply to the manufacturer’s complete corrugated inventory, which includes stock boxes, custom mailer boxes, and point-of-purchase displays.
The group plans to update its digital properties and commercial facility signage to reflect the change while maintaining assigned personnel, client agreements, and output without operational disruption.
