UK-based pre-press packaging services and products provider Reproflex3 has installed a dual-head ThermoFlexX 80-D digital flexo plate imager at its site in Newcastle.
The new imager, provided by Flint Group subsidiary ThermoFlexX, will expand Reproflex3’s production capabilities at the Newcastle site.

Capable of imaging at a speed of 12m² per hour, the new equipment provides resolutions of up to 5,080dpi and can use flexo plates from any manufacturer.
The imager operates using ThermoFlexX software MultiPlate and has been interfaced with Reproflex3’s existing Kodak workflow.
The files, received by Reproflex3 from printers across the UK, are sent as 1-bit TIFF files to the imager after processing.
