The deal has also created a new entity for filling and capping solutions with more than 15,000 installed machines.

Pacific Packaging’s management and team have also joined Pro Mach.

Pro Mach president and CEO Mark Anderson said: “Pacific Packaging and Pro Mach bring together a great deal of experience in manufacturing high-quality filling and capping solutions and supporting the world’s leading food, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies.

With the acquisition, the company further aims to boost its position as single-source provider of packaging equipment and integrated systems for the entire rotary, inline filling and capping line.

Pro Mach currently has more than 30 equipment brands and operations in North America, Mexico, Europe, the UAE, and China.

In August, the company purchased Canada-based packaging line engineering, integration, and productivity services and solutions provider Zarpac.
