Finland-based self-adhesive label materials provider UPM Raflatac has unveiled a new range of label stock products, Ice and Ice Premium, for the European wine industry.
UPM Raflatac provides paper and film label stock for consumer products and industrial labels worldwide.

Designed to meet the standards of the European wine industry, the new label stock range ensures that labels maintain their original appearance and feel in cold and wet environments.
UPM Raflatac wine and spirits food labelling solutions manager Jay Betton said: "Label designers are increasingly using textured papers with visual and tactile depth to connect with consumers, but their hard work is all lost if the label turns gray when wet or on ice.
"Our Ice and Ice Premium products have been designed and rigorously tested to showcase wine brands at their finest.

The labels’ materials, inks and varnishes remain solid, even after being submerged for four hours in an ice bucket.
UPM Raflatac has expanded its range of food-safe labelling products with the addition of PP White FTC 60 and a food-approved version of its VANISH ultra-thin, clear polyethylene terephthalate (PET) label face material.
