Fluid-Bag has developed a valve for food industry users that can be appropriately sterilised according to industry standards.

The company’s inner containers can now be equipped with a DN 50 size valve that can be sterilised within 15 minutes at 121°, inside two-and-a-half minutes at 130° or in just 30 seconds at 140°.

The valve has an updated design and can be handled more easily. It is made of a material free from Bisphenol A, fulfilling both EU and FDA requirements for food contact.

The Fluid-Bag inner containers are manufactured in ISO 22000 certified facilities under the HACCP process control system.

This solution is currently being used by Fluid-Bag customers and end-users in the fruit preparation industry.
