The Spanish innovation centre for agro technology Adesva conducted several tests using the PerfoTec system, as well as other systems, in 2013 and this year. PerfoTec’s fruit, vegetable and flower shelf-life extension technology gave the best results on test.

The results of the test – on strawberries and raspberries – were better than any other shelf-life extension technology investigated by the institute.

Adesva recommends the system to packers of fresh fruit and vegetables, because it is the only system that can influence fluctuations in respiration and product quality in an efficient manner, PerfoTec says.
