Winpak attended this year’s Interpack trade fair in Düsseldorf as an exhibitor. Winpak joined in the stand with Wipak. Winpak Lane, the machinery manufacturing division of Winpak Ltd, which operates internationally, presented established package samples as well as a model W-12 pouch machine for producing single serving sachets of such products as ketchup, salad dressing, mayonnaise and virtually any pumpable liquid product.

“Winpak is very pleased with the result of this year’s Interpack. By joining with Wipak, the stand enjoyed great popularity and we held many excellent consultations with high-level visitors from all corners of the globe,” said Winpak Lane director of sales and marketing, Mark Griffin.
Visitors from all continents showed a great deal of interest in the Winpak portion control machinery. Visitors from Europe topped the numbers but there were also many visitors from South America, the Middle East, Asia, India and Africa. Qualified projects were established on literally every continent during the seven days of the show.

Many of this year’s exhibitors were concentrated on the environment and Winpak was no exception. Winpak highlighted the WP series of pouch machines which make three side seal sachets that net in 10% to 25% savings in packaging material, in addition to the well-established, four side seal sachet format.

Winpak is also a supplier of a great deal of packaging materials for liquid, meat, cheese and medical packaging. At Interpack this year, Winpak highlighted existing and new developments in medical and pharmaceutical packaging materials.

The W-12 pouch machine that was exhibited at the Interpack trade fair was sold from the show to a portion control manufacturer in Australia. Winpak is now busy building machinery for the upcoming PackExpo International in Las Vegas, 26-28 September. Winpak looks forward to meeting you there.
