AlpVision recently joined the Petroleum Packaging Council, an association providing technical leadership and education to the petroleum packaging industry.
As an Associate Member, AlpVision will participate in PPC’s upcoming Spring Meeting, to be held on 17-19 March at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St Augustine, Florida, US.

The solution applies to a wide variety of petroleum packaging, including lubricant oil bottles and closures, plastic cans, barrels and drums.
AlpVision will also be available to answer questions regarding its Cryptoglyph® technology applicable to lubricant labels.
Both Fingerprint and Cryptoglyph are detectable using a standard smartphone equipped with AlpVision’s instant product authentication application. Working in real-time, verification takes less than three seconds, including time to pick up the product and position the smartphone over it.
In addition to providing instant positive authentication, AlpVision’s applications can also be customised to trigger a range of actions, including providing product features, user data, and market information.
AlpVision’s instant authentication application is available for the iPhone 4/4S/5 (other mobile operating systems available upon request).
