The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada packaging industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Columbia Sportswear posted 7 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 40% over the previous month, followed by British American Tobacco with 5 jobs and a 400% growth. Lien Hwa Industrial with 3 IT jobs and Spin Master with 2 jobs, recorded a 75% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Agropur cooperative recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.94%, down by 57.14% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.47% share, a growth of 125% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 20.59% share, up 600% over May 2021.
