Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2021
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 51.96% in June 2021, a 2.49% growth over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 16.94% in June 2021, marking a 34.31% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 11.88% in June 2021, an 8.05% growth from May 2021.

Top five packaging companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 5.53% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s packaging industry during June 2021 over previous month.
Carlsberg posted 84 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a decline of 16.83% over the previous month, followed by Fujitsu General with 57 jobs and a 10.94% drop. Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 38 IT jobs and Unibel with 32 jobs, recorded a 22.58% growth and an 11.11% drop, respectively, while Signify recorded a 33.33% an increase with 28 job postings during June 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s packaging industry
Poland commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with an 18.2% share in June 2021, a 0.69% decline over May 2021. the UK featured next with a 14.03% share, down 3.48% over the previous month. France recorded a 13.4% share, a drop of 22.06% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.93%, down by 14.56% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.04% share, a growth of 63.01% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 12.9% share, up 8.51% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.13%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
