Japan-based company Fujitsu General’s IT hiring declined 9.9% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 9.24% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 33.71% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 3.17% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Fujitsu General IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Fujitsu General, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 53.85% in August 2021, and a 35.19% drop over July 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15.38% in August 2021, and registered a decline of 44.44%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.77% in August 2021, a 40% rise from July 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Fujitsu General

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global packaging IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 90.77% share, which marked a 22.37% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 9.23%, registering a 93.68% month-on-month decline.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 40% share in August 2021, a 52.94% growth over July 2021. Germany featured next with a 23.08% share, up 15.38% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 10.77% share, a decline of 22.22% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Fujitsu General IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.54%, down by 60% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.62% share, a decline of 38.46% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.31% share, down 81.82% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.54%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
