Germany packaging industry registered a 4.6% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 2.2% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.58% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 0.52% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 93.68% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany packaging industry in July 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 43.16% in July 2021, an 8.89% drop over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.05% share, an increase of 5.26% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 14.74%, registering a 40% rise from June 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 8.42%, down 20% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Germany IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 3.57% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany packaging industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
FreudenbergKG posted 14 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a drop of 6.67% over the previous month, followed by HelloFresh with 12 jobs and a 20% drop. Fujitsu General with 11 IT jobs and Grohe with 11 jobs, recorded a 22.22% growth and a 1000% increase, respectively, while Fielmann recorded a 62.5% decline with 6 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.26%, down by 24.39% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.11% share, a growth of 110% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.63% share, up 33.33% over June 2021.
