Germany’s packaging industry registered a 2.8% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.59% share in August 2021, recording an increase of 0.15% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 95.58% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s packaging industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 46.9% in August 2021, registering a 15.22% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 16.81% share, a decrease of 17.39% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 12.39%, registering a 6.67% decline from July 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 11.5%, up 85.71% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s packaging industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Grohe posted 25 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 127.27% over the previous month, followed by Fujitsu General with 15 jobs and a 15.38% growth. FreudenbergKG with 10 IT jobs and Hugo Boss with 10 jobs, recorded a 28.57% decline and a 66.67% flat growth, respectively, while Fielmann recorded an increase of 50% with 9 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.8%, up by 12.68% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.58% share, registered a decline of 8.7% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.62% share, flat growth over July 2021.
