Management Occupations drive packaging hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 7% of the total new job postings in Q2 2023 and were up by 21% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 6% and rise by 88% year-on-year, and third highest were Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations, which were 27% of the new job postings and 180% higher year-on-year.
Top five companies in packaging accounted for 75% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Tetra Laval International with 58, followed by Avery Dennison with 53, while the highest increase was at O-I Glass at 15%.
