Switzerland-based company Nestle ’s IT hiring an increased 7.8% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 9.48% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 3.54% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.64% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in June 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 42.86% in June 2021, and a flat growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 30.61% in June 2021, and registered an 11.76% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.2% in June 2021, a 16.67% drop from May 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Nestle

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global packaging IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 51.02% share, which marked a 7.41% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 22.45%, registering a 31.25% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 14.29% share and a 40% growth over May 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 8.16% and a month-on-month an increase of 300%.South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 4.08%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 14.29% share in June 2021, a 53.33% decline over May 2021. Spain featured next with a 14.29% share, down 22.22% over the previous month.United Kingdom recorded an 8.16% share, an increase of 300% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.39%, down by 24.44% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.33% share, a growth of 300% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.29% share, up 16.67% over May 2021.
