Poland’s packaging industry registered a 9.4% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.01% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.04% share in August 2021, recording a decrease of 0.57% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.59% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s packaging industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 54.93% in August 2021, registering a 30.36% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed an 18.31% share, an increase of 18.18% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 16.9%, registering a 9.09% rise from July 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.23%, down 40% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 66.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s packaging industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
British American Tobacco posted 22 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 266.67% over the previous month, followed by The Procter & Gamble with 11 jobs and a 120% growth. Reckitt Benckiser Group with 7 IT jobs and Philip Morris International with 6 jobs, recorded a 12.5% decline and a 40% decrease, respectively, while PepsiCo recorded an increase of 300% with 4 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.42%, down by 10.71% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.13% share, registered an increase of 15.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.45% share, down 62.5% over July 2021.
