UK-based company Amcor ’s IT hiring rose 94.9% in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 78.25% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.73% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 1.06% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Amcor IT hiring in March 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Amcor, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.17% in March 2022, and a 75% rise over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 24.14% in March 2022, and registered growth of 180%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 23.28% in March 2022, a 107.69% rise from February 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Amcor

North America emerged as the leading region in the global packaging IT hiring activity in March 2022 with a 59.48% share, which marked a 109.09% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 27.59%, registering a 166.67% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.21% share and an 116.67% rise over February 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.72% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 59.48% share in March 2022, a 122.58% growth over February 2022. India featured next with an 8.62% share, up 66.67% over the previous month. France recorded an 8.62% share, an increase of 400% compared with February 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Amcor IT hiring activity in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.38%, up by 92.5% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.41% share, a growth of 160% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.21% share, up 550% over February 2022.
