US-based company Ball’s IT hiring declined 21.6% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 14.3% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 13.68% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 2.58% decline over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Ball IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Ball, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 38.53% in February 2022, and a 14.29% drop over January 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 33.03% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 25%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 17.43% in February 2022, a 5% drop from January 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Ball
North America emerged as the leading region in the global packaging IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 93.58% share, which marked a 20.31% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 5.5%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 0.92% share and a 50% drop over January 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 93.58% share in February 2022, a 20.31% decline over January 2022. Serbia featured next with a 2.75% share, up 200% over the previous month.
Entry Level jobs lead Ball IT hiring activity in February 2022
Entry Level jobs held a share of 42.2%, down by 36.11% from January 2022. Junior Level positions with a 42.2% share, a growth of 9.52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 15.6% share, down 26.09% over January 2022.
