US-based company Ball’s IT hiring rose 0.8% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7.86% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 17.05% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 2.37% growth over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Ball IT hiring in June 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Ball, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 44.6% in June 2022, and a 26.53% rise over May 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 24.46% in June 2022, and registered growth of 13.33%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 12.95% in June 2022, a 10% drop from May 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global packaging IT hiring activity in June 2022 with an 89.93% share, which marked a 13.64% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 7.91%, registering a 10% month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 2.16% share and a flat growth over May 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with an 87.77% share in June 2022, a 15.09% growth over May 2022. Serbia featured next with a 3.6% share, up 25% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 2.16% share, a decline of 25% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Ball IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 47.48%, up by 4.76% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 36.69% share, a growth of 6.25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 12.23% share, up 70% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.6%, recording a month-on-month increase of 150%.
